Egg Shells ? !

A few weeks ago, a customer called us out to fix a drain problem.  Her kitchen sink kept backing up and causing problems. 

By the end of this service call, our plumbing technician had replaced a section of pipe that was filled with EGG SHELLS !   Our customer had been using her garbage disposal to get rid of egg shells for years, never dreaming that they were collecting in her pipes almost cementing them solid and unable to drain. 

Like many people, she assumed her garbage disposal could handle egg shells as well as many other food products.

Let this be a warning to you, be careful what you put in your garbage disposal.
